I have always liked the idea of throwing paint on a canvas and Jackson Pollock is one of my favorite painters. I gave it a try and this is what happened.

I broke a brush while I was putting a background color on this painting and decided to spread the bristles around the canvas. Then I painted the circles which look as though they are being carried in the wind because of the bristles.

Cob Works

The texture in this piece makes the strips of color look like corn cobs are exploding like fireworks. Hence, Cob Works.

Waterdrops

I had a lot of fun with this one. It made me think of rocks skipping over water.

Recent Oil Work

Red Flowers

I went to an art show in California and a woman had a great section of a painting with these red flowers that really popped. They were my favorite part of the painting and I could have been satisfied with just that portion. I decided to paint my own instead. The detail is pretty difficult to see in this photo, my apologies.
